More about Dr Nicholas Mehan

Dr. Mehan’s completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2009. He completed his specialist urology training across several hospitals in New South Wales, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) in 2018. This was followed by a prestigious two-year fellowship in robotic surgery and HoLEP at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital in London, where he trained alongside leading experts in the field.

As a member of the Nepean Urology Research Group (NURG), Dr. Mehan is dedicated to advancing the understanding of prostate cancer treatments. Dr. Mehan was a key investigator in the pioneering first-in-human trial for interstitial cooled laser prostate ablation at Nepean Hospital. His ongoing research efforts focus on improving prostate cancer treatments, including focal therapy and salvage radical prostatectomy.

A code will be texted to you prior for carpark entry; enter this on the black key pad for entry. Please park in the spaces allocated to Sydney Urology Group on level B1 and take the lift to ground floor. Exit the lobby and cross the road to the office.
