Male Urinary Symptoms

Male urinary symptoms are often referred to as Lower Urinary Tracts Symptoms (LUTs).

LUTs are caused by non-cancerous growth of the prostate known as Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH). BPH will affect over 50% of men after the age of 50. BPH can cause obstruction or blockage of the urinary passage resulting in difficulties in urinating such as poor flow, incomplete bladder emptying and waking up at night to urinate.
